actaully they did physically force us but they keep telling us tho stay where we are until everyone moves and I am 100% not exaggerating the story. Plus there really was no wind over head. You could even see it when they ran the fireworks.

I'm not sure where this is, but it looks like some sort of theme park. Can anyone shed some light on it? It's a pretty nasty looking crash.

well put it this way - theres no point building greenspace - because it will die... or be inhabited by campers it's f**king hot what else are they gunna spend money on? Either way - they aren't building bowls and tornados - they're building body slides and aqua racers - something we've had for years. A cheap, free, public access point to cool off in a damn hot location... i'm not against it.

Thought might put it in here..... I went for a volounteer interview today for Wildlife Sydney, and got the job. and there was a part in the interview where i scared my interviewer when they started to describe the history of the "park" and i took over shortly after she started....

Fairly sure this should not be out in the park whilst it is still open...

Not really a good move to speak over and correct/make your interviewer look silly... just a tip for next time.

Also not a good idea to show exactly how good you are at the job you are being interviewed for. Show that there is a bit of room for improvement. Personal example: Went for a ride presenter position with Movie World many years back. Had to present the Looney Tunes River speech for the first room. Got into it and sort of carried on with the complete pre ride presentation. Was queried by the interviewer if the paperwork I got had the whole speech on it to which I replied I didn't get a copy of it at the group interview. She then enquired about which other attractions I knew the presentation for. So I started the Great Gremlin Adventure presentation (keep in mind this was a few years after Scooby had opened), the interviewer then asked about the Movie Magic Sound Stage to which I started the "Behind the Scenes" explaining stage 1 to the two "volunteers". I got a call a week later informing that I was not chosen as I was, and I quote, "overqualified" for the position. A couple of months later I went for another interview for the same position description. This time I purposely made some mistakes during the audition and said nothing about my knowledge of the presentations. I was offered the position then and there.

The interviewer/ volly coordinator seemed to love my knowledge of the companys history, she got really exited. But also in a way it is a good idea to know these things, because you do get the odd foreign person asking things like that. Also on a side note they have Merlins "XLR8" program plastered everywhere..... basically you sign up on FB and then get selected to go to EU somewhere to study in 1 of 3 areas, for a few years. Aswell on the 3 peices of paper used to advertise it (2 of writing , 1 of pictures) on the picture page, its just a picture of Raptor in italy with all of their EU parks and attractions logos down to bottom (for those un-aware they aparently own every major park over there....), that and MT's is due to open early Q3.

VRTP have been doing some weekend specials at retail outlets lately to entice locals/weekend visitors to outlay money at outlets they generally wouldn't... Not sure if with your GL photo you get the pictured bottle or a boulder
