The only thing app worthy in it is the park map, which is supposed to use the phones GPS to provide your location on the park map. The rest could easily be achieved by a mobile website. It is worth noting that the ticket purchase feature of the app just redirects to their mobile ticket website.

When everyone on your page already knows what times the parks open, I guess the only thing left to post about is condiments...

All I can say is - Apple apps have been around longer than android, and android longer than Windows phones. So Android users should be patient... and Windows users should get a real phone.

A real phone? I don't think they want gimped maps.

Google Maps by itself is average but combine it with Google Navigation and you have an extremely hard to beat navigation solution, especially for the price you are paying. I am another of the former iPhone users who now use an S3 and will never go back to Apple after it. I prefer innovation via the phone, not the courtroom.

Just on google maps, Google Maps now has the pathways at Dreamworld as well as the railway track mapped out. Movie World have hinted at Street View coming to the park, I wonder if the same is coming to Dreamworld?

My 'real phone' comment wasn't directed at Android users... just Windows Phone users. Street view is nice, but in a way - dated. Are they going to roll out the street-view car every time they change something update a ride theme the park? Ideally - they'd want to have a separate set up for fright nights and white christmas too. More of a gimmick than anything really useful. Agree that a solid mobile site would be preferable to an 'app' for any platform...

Movie World are having a Maintenance Lot Sale, they are selling Ex HWSD cars, Police Academy stuff, the LTRR and BT boats and lots of other things. http://movieworld.com.au/latest-news/lot-sale.aspx

Just went through the file. They're selling both sets of boats from the water rides.... Also ALOT of Memphis & Belle props, the "tank" from PA, and a few leathal weapon things too.... Not to mention cars from the Ski Show....

They were branching off the northern end of the castle. More information about them can be found in the following topic:

Probably best suited for sea world. Or it could go into wet'n'wild.

I'd lean towards WnW/WWW. If you have to get changed into swimmers to do something then it limits your ridership in a dry park like SW, and patronage would be low in the winter months.
