No Jet Rescue, but they did come out here to film TOT and Superman.

Look forward to revisiting two great days through the wonders of TV!

It was TOT and Superman, not Jet Rescue. For the Dreamworld filming it was handled by the actual park to sort out extras. I believe they opened it up on their FB page but I don't recall seeing it.

Movie World casting call was basically calling those who participated in the Dreamworld filming and requesting those able to make it along to bring friends or if unable to attend ask friends who may be interested and able to attend. No "official" shout outs for extras were done via any other source such as Theme Park Review for the Superman filming.

Does anyone know offhand what the certain medical conditions are that would exclude a person from JL3D? Got a small group outing happening just after the school holidays and needing a plan of attack for the group including rides they can and cannot do. JL3D is the only one I am unsure with a few of the attendees.

I think it's just the usual - expectant mothers, heart problems, back & neck problems, adverse to fog & strobe effects, motion sickness.

Out of those the only big ones would be the fog/strobe and motion sickness (from the 3D).

I bought a pack today, the images consist of things like the wild mouse's mouse as the joker and Luna as the queen.

Yeah have seem those!! Great souvenir!! And it's great for the park to get recognition from IAAPA,no matter how small a category it's in!!

Not sure which is correct, but someone can fix that up.

Wiki says it was June 9, my calendar at work lists it as June 11 1979, but either way we're at the anniversary of the fire of the Ghost Train at Luna Park Sydney.

Most sources say it was definitely June the 9th 1979. Your calendar is the one that's incorrect.

Yeah, that doesn't surprise me, it has had public holidays wrong before too. Really all I use it for is the date, and it hasn't got that wrong yet.

That's not really something to look so excited about.

you seem oddly excited to be posing in front of a plaque commemorating people who have tragically died?? Do you go to cemetery's and take happy snaps with dumb grins in front of headstones?
