Can't paste the link because this site is still broken in IE, but the Ettamogah Pub at Aussie World is no longer.

Jaeger's sources seem pretty confident, but if it isn't HSD3, i'm inclined to think it may just be a 'season launch' for Carnivale.

Could we possibly see something tied into Pirates of the Carribean that begins filming next week on the backlot and around the GC?

^I think it'd be pretty stupid of them not to do something related to it. It's one of the biggest movie franchises in the world, it'd sure be a major attraction.

Disney might have something to say about that.

Yeah no doubt would require a licensing agreement with Disney, but given MW is not in a competing market, surely some sort of arrangement could be nutted out, even if it was for a walk thru exhibit with props & costumes post-filming.

Anyone interested in movies has to check out the black pearl they've build behind Westfields at Helensvale for filming on, surrounding by shipping containers ready for green screen. Quite a sight

Just a brief note to warn y'all that the Wild Mouse at Luna Park Sydney is down until April.

Certainly can mate, one side is exposed whilst the other 3 are obscured by the containers

The pirate village built in Maudsland is amazing as well, can't get very close anymore but still a great thing to check out

Yeh you can see some of the roofs of the villege when heading north on the train, so yeh will go check out the black perl tomorrow mate

Naa train line goes no-where near Maudsland/Guanaba, not sure what Roofs you're seeing but it's not from the pirate town they've built

Oh true thought it was must be somthing differnt then I thought it was built up at willow vale not far from the train line, my mistake

In other unrelated news, it seems like some people think that Disney is about ready to start planning its second park in HK. They certainly will need something besides Iron Man when the park on the main land opens up.

A stud driver on a bike was hit by a car in the HWSD show this afternoon. They were taken to hospital but apparently they're expected to make a full recovery. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-02-14/stunt-rider-injured-during-show-at-movie-world-on-gold-coast/6100804

How good of a coaster does this look.

Not sure where to put this, but here goes.

Anyone know when Arkham is expected to reopen from rehab? The MW site says it's currently TBA and I thought it had some set dates earlier in the year

If the park themselves don't know, what chance do you think a bunch of people on a public forum would have? September 15

I'm taking a stab on April 1, when the gates will open, everyone will board, and then just before leaving the station they'll say "April Fools" and close the ride for another 2 months
