And WWW has reduced hours in winter

My point is the WWW Gate doesn't appear to be used as an Entry at all anymore, so why keep it looking that way?

It is a little confusing for Guests to have two Front Gates/entries when only one of them is EVER used.

Summer and Sept/Oct School Holidays should surely bring big enough crowds to operate both gates fully? Waterpark Goers might then use the Lockers provided in the Waterpark area rather than trapse back and forth through the main Park all day long.

When everyone on your page already knows what times the parks open, I guess the only thing left to post about is condiments...

I really dig this. Glad the studios are getting a semblance of culture and identity given how important they are to the film industry here in Australia now.

i echo @Slick's sentiments... it's just the panel of pool fencing in front of it that detracts from it - it does look like its meant to be permanent (i hope not) - but surely a few bollards would have been less obtrusive?

I'd say that fence will join with gates either side and continue to a full fence of the whole area.

Much like the existing studios entrance.

I cannot understand why Sea World hasn't taken the Broadbeach monorail.

They are one train short and they could have had this one very cheap!

(Obviously that's assuming it's compatible)

^ I'm guessing it was reaching the end of its life span and would be too much hassle/cost to take on... That and if it is at the end would have to be scrapped soon anyway.

SW needs new Monorail Trains to replace the 1980's fleet and the only way I can see this possibly happen is if/when the proposed Casino development goes in across the way. The line could be extended and a new Casino/Resort station added with the Development cost shared, however largely fronted by the Casino that would perhaps benefit from it more.

Given the adjacent Resort It's pretty essential for the Monorail to continue to exist however in it's current state it's pretty sad too. VTP would not be keen to invest millions in something that isn't really going to get a return so the only way to get it a face lift would be to get the Casino on board.

The scary thing is that the Broadbeach monorail was said to be nearing the end of its life (which I believe is probably right), yet the Sea World monorail was the first in Australia.

It doesn't take a genius to work out that the Sea World monorail must be running on borrowed time!

I get the argument that Village would want to see a return on investment, but sometimes there is an indirect return.

They should invest in these things to ensure the long term future of Sea World. Much as they have by investing in new paths, toilet upgrades etc.

I have pointed out in the past that it isn't possible for the monorails to have aircon without a redesign of the SharkBay station/maintenance bay. There is literally only a couple of centimetres between the roof of the monorail and a beam in the maintenance bay. So unless that station was redesigned, track lowered, etc then they couldn't install aircon.

Is that seaworlds new monorail trains? If so it look so like it has Aircon

You assumed wrong lol. Broadbeach monorail didn't have aircon either. At least hadn't for a long time....

Where exactly is the assumption being made?

Is that = a question. The poster is unsure if his/her comments are accurate and is seeking to engage others to enlighten him/her on the facts he/she seeks.

it look so like it has Aircon = a statement showing the poster is uncertain, but in their opinion the image shows the presence of an air conditioner unit affixed to the roof of the train.

If anything, it seems more that "You assumed wrong lol"  in that you assumed the poster was making an assumption about the intended destination of the monorail train shown in the photo.

Do you really want to be having this debate with me, Jason? Or are we going to start nitpicking everything I post?

Anyway, I'll be around from time to time back to my usual calling people out on stupid stuff and correcting people's grammar, spelling and content.

You all missed it.

Welcome to the internet. No one's a special sausage. Everyone gets the same treatment in the same way I would be happy to be called out on anything (when it's justifiable - so not just "I don't like you" comments etc).
