I asked around some of the employees and was told that some of the people who built the ride from america were trying to fix it and would be fixed withing a few days. I could see them playing around with the trains as they were where the problem was occurring.

Could be anything that's stopping them from opening it. Sometimes the maintenance crews come across problems when trying to fix problems. Hopefully during this maintenance period, they've got someone from S&S to come down and resolve the inconsistency with the on-board audio? I know it's nothing major, but I'd be pretty annoyed if my new multi-million dollar roller coaster has had faulty audio since opening day.

The Dippin Dots guy thing is a joke. It originated from people saying things like "Oh I heard from (park employee) that the new ride will be (insert ride here)" on the internet about different theme parks. So the joke has been spread with the Dippin Dots guy used as an example as a park employee.

I was taking to a mate who was at w&w today and he said he saw the trains testing running on the tracks which is an improvement over not running at all when I was at mw on tuesday

Went past Movieworld today coming back from Dreamworld and saw that Green Lantern had people on it.. So it must've opened up today

According the the maintenance page on the MW website the green lantern is not in maintanace amymore and running today going next week to ride it

No it wasn't.

Rode today, seemed slower around the first corner/after drop, also smoother breaking. The big improvement however is the restraints now release themselves when you return to the station, rather than you having to "scoop" them up.

Nope, I would assume it is not going to return, one of the cars had the audio switched on (with the key) however it appeared to be disabled somewhere else.. I have heard it was causing faults/issues, although I have no idea how true that is.
