I think this whole side thread is GOLD!!!!

Was At Movie World Today and The Batman Ride was a mess the library doors would not shut and once you got to the simulators and were seated you waited for about 2 minutes before the ride starts

Would not be suprised if they intend on using that famous 3D Spiderman Motion Simulator Ride as "inspiration".

If you are referring to The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, I could hardly see something like that coming to our parks (as much as I would like to see it or Transformers-style ride here).

Sorry to bring back an old topic but I just found this set on Flickr. They are the original storyboards and keyframes for the second ride's film. They are done by Robin Hall and Neil Adams. The Flickr account belongs to Robin Hall who has a heap of other stuff posted which I am currently looking through.

Plus there is no way you could fit a 4D Dark ride in the Batman building anyway.

i was fortunate enough to ride both versions of this ride the 1st was based after batman 2 with the penguin

Guessing there won't be much action in this thread until something major and obvious starts happening with the replacement.

I think this topic and the spring 2012 attraction thread should be merged
