I think it's near Druitt, or Toongabbie Lunch for the meet will be held at the Outback Restaraunt instead of having a spit-filled cheeseburger and some soggy hot chips. I'm trying to get some deals organised for our meal, which I will be notified of tomorrow afternoon. Liam

Rooty Hill is near Mt. Druitt, Toongabbie is in the opposite direction. It is atleast 20 minutes from Rooty Hill. Rooty Hill railway station is the where you can get the bus to Wonderland. Neil

Talk to Richard about that one. All I know is its in Rooty Hill, which it must be said is the coolest suburb name ever (with the notable exception of Whatanobby).

It's the Holiday Inn at the Rooty Hill RSL, I think it used to be a Country Comfort. The reason for the Rooty Hill location is because it's the closest nice hotel to Wonderland Sydney. I've stayed there twice before (1993 and 2002), so I figured stick with what you know. I'm only able to be in town for one night, so close to the park is the way to go.

Please, let's leave this thread for discussions about the meet - this is one topic that doesn't need to be sidetracked. I won't be going to the Easter Show, so obviously I won't be taking any photos or anything of the place. However by this time the new website will be up and running, and there will be ways for users' photos to be published on this site. I know of at least one member here who has suggested that they'll be contributing photos for the Easter Show. Of course all will be revealed when the new site is launched, hopefully very soon. Something will be happening, like a tribute or something for Wonderland Sydney. I haven't put much thought into it yet, so there's not much I can say. It'll also, like everything on the new site, rely on user contributions. Back onto topic now.

Thats great news. Just wondering does everyone want to post their Travel plans for the weekend so we know who is in town when?? I was thinking perhaps we could organise to all have dinner post WL on the Sunday at somewhere near by?? Also for anyone in town...do you have any thoughts on a late night drink probably at Panthers Saturday Night? I am working probably till 11 or 12ish but am certainly up for anything after that... Only a few days now :-)

Everyone who's expressed interest will be getting an email about this probably tomorrow, confirming everything and giving you the final rundown on everything. Just a few points until then. There will be a "limited edition" Total Thrills t-shirts on sale on the day. More information will be available as soon as I get it, but they'll be under $20 and will be available in M, L and XL. They'll be worth getting - I'll have them with me all day on the day for anyone that wants to buy one. If you didn't get a Total Thrills calendar when they were available and are interested in picking one up, I'll also have a handful with me, so bring an extra $20 if that sounds like you. Get the whole lot and you've managed to spend $90 at Wonderland this Sunday! As Flea suggested above, if you're not already on the list, or are still uncertain about it, please contact us or post in this thread as soon as possible, because we really do need to know final numbers.
