It is on-board, and I agree, I thought they would have had utilised the system along the brake run. I would not call it a failure considering it only has just been hooked up/appears to be working as intended.

Oh okay I thought they meant there were speakers placed along the lift hill... didn't realise it was the on-board system. Well it has certainly taken them a significantly long time to get it organised AND I'm pretty sure the audio would have been originally planned to play for the duration of the ride, not just the start. Also, we all know how very hit & miss (mostly miss) Green Lantern's on-board audio system is

Drove past ME yesterday and the Batman logo/signage has disappeared from the top of Space Shot. Anyone have any ideas why? surely not a re-theme?? Though given Batman has nothing to do with Space if probably could be better themed/named

I'd guess they're just re-theming it to Justice League. The Wayne Manor theme out the front of the Batman Building is completely gone now.

Just a refurb I think you'll find. Better that they keep the ride running without the canopy rather than close it for the duration.

While they are redoing the facade I've got to say the signage around the building looks really cool, rather than just a boring tarp!

And it looks like they are now calling it Justice League (Alien Invasion 3D) THE RIDE. Or maybe the marketing department is just confused. Again

I'm not sure what you mean, the ride was closed about a week ago for the day, the next time I saw it part of the batman theming was gone, is there any reason for them to close it just so they can take that part off?

It was closed for maintenance from July 23 to August 5.

You'll see the canopy is back up. What I meant was better the ride stay open with no canopy than sit closed for the duration the canopy was missing.
