Well i also agree. I have a FB page for my Magic and i only have 300+ likes on the page. However i put down,"When i get 400 likes i will reveal a new clue. Also because there is only 320 page likes i need 80 more so this gets people in sharing the page to get more people. This means more page likes. Which equals more business.

^ Lol, nice one TPGC...

I predict they won't reveal the name based on likes. Once there is a modicum of information floating about, they'll reveal what it is, and then hold a facebook competition for what they should name it (including the usual like & share). At the conclusion, a winner will be announced who will win a family pass to dreamworld (which they won't be able to use as they already have a world pass), and this winner will coincidentally be the person who managed to guess the name that they were already going to call it anyway.

Sorry if it has already been mentioned, but DW's cover photo for their Facebook page says new ride "Takes Off" September, and has a photo of a woman in a restraint. Not sure if it is of the same ride type, or just a generic pic.

They're definitely Zamperla restraints...

...and it looks like a Power Surge.

It's going to be a Power Surge. Sadly.

EDIT: it is probably just a picture of Pandamonium. Still say it'll be a Power Surge though.

The ride could be a Air Race 8.2 :P Nah in seriousness yes it's gonna most likely to be a Power Surge.. I just love it how some people get hyped up then a theme park announces a new ride and they predict it's gonna be Sky Fly then the theme park announces something that they didn't want then start getting pissed at the park.. Remember how people thought that a B&M was going to replace Bermuda then they took it out on Sea World.. Also let's not forget that we got pissed at Movie World when they announced Mini Cars Driving School..

I honestly don't mind if it is a power-surge, I just hate how they are hyping it up as the Big9!

Just had a thought could the 2009 likes be the 20th of September which I believe is the fist day of school holidays.

At Dreamworld right now, Wipeout is currently being tested in all the old and new ride programs, got at least 5 engineers and people from outside the park in the control booth playing around with everything, it is going good.

Sure are, they are playing around with the locking mechanism at the moment, other than that it is all going well.

Was meant to open today I was told, however they need to play around with the ride, it has to be tested at least 20 times I was told and they are waiting on a fence, 1 week to wait for it haha

Oh I've got about 10 haha, i was just walking past these business people and they were talking about it and the head guy was saying, it will give the ride another 10 years of life and new exciting features.

Yeah going through photos and posts etc I'm beginning to get the idea it'll be a Sky Fly themed to sea planes or manta rays or something sea themed. Still got fears it will be a Power Surge though. If that primary foundation is for the support, wouldn't the ride basically fly over Snack Attack and the Wipeout queue?
