I personally prefer the laser tag over a permanent "travelling fair" ride.

One thing that I have always wanted to see and know more about was the initial construction phase of Dreamworld during the 70's. There are two black and white photos of Main Street under construction that all of us would have seen, but the rest of construction is either closely guarded, or never recorded.

Can you offer any insight into the construction and the John Longhurst days? I understand that you would have started working at DW during the 90's, but would you have any stories or pics to share?

The laser tag guns that Evilution / AVPX used are from Delta Strike, not the genuine Laserforce branded guns. Each system has advantages and disadvantages to each other, I know that Laserforce ones are quite expensive so it could have been purely a cost reason. While IMO the Laserforce system is superior, both do the job just fine really.

Ardent own M9, M9 uses Delta Strike gear, so it would be pretty stupid to go source another manufacturers gear when they can just order some more from the company they already deal with.

M9 uses delta strike and Laserforce, depending on the location.

One question I have if anyone knows... Why does TOT have that thril rail in the centre, and what makes it so friken loud?

I would like to know that too... but I like it's loudness, it gives a sense of 'uniqueness' to the ride I guess.

Hopefully Dreamworld's hired goons didn't get to Skyra for saying things he shouldn't have as haven't seen him on since his initial flurry of activity
