You table a good argument but does Woolworths pavilion over free babysitting.

For the wife?

They don't as far as I know have babysitting, but they did last time I went have a stand that sells nothing but toasted cheese sandwiches for $2 each. They were doing a roaring trade. Its amazing how appealing a cheese toastie is after hours of booze.

Had an awesome time at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year, and it was a pleasure to meet @HussRainbow87, who was working on the Beast. Was so cool to see how the ride operated, and then had easily

i'm not sure how you do over a pavilion, but i'd guess they don't offer free babysitting either. (maybe don't give this guy any more wine, he's slurring his typing!)

The multideck carpark they've just built keeps your car out of the sun if you want to crack a window for the kiddies though...

Haha 😂 yeah and after potentially spending hundreds of dollars at the Ekka overall, the prospect of a cheap $2 cheese toastier would be more than tempting for most people!!

I think that's probably the cheapest and must filling food item in the entire Ekka. Save money for rides, eat cheese toasties

Honestly you'll never enjoyed anything as much as one of those sandwiches when you've eaten noting but small cheese samples and you've destroyed your pallet by drinking every type of wine that exists.

@Tim Dasco and myself spent the afternoon at the Perth Royal Show sideshow alley preview day. How we got the invite was a story in itself.

Tim went on lots of the rides(tons were open) and we got some great on and off ride footage. The weather wasn’t perfect and the new coaster wasn’t running(we did see some people walking the lift hill). Saw lots of the media and other influencers there. Tim got to talking with lots of the ride operators too.

whats the difference between extreme thriller and nitro?

Different manufacturer, the nitro is a Zamperla discovery and I’m not sure who makes the Extreme Thriller but it looks like a knock of on KMGs Freak Out ride design. Having done both of them yesterday the Extreme thriller pushes you downwards with a lot of force similar to the Intamin gyro swing and Nitro slowly pushes you out with more floater airtime.

We got a bunch of free tickets to the show,  thanks to our new connections with the publicists from the Perth Royal Show. It was close to 30 degrees, today, so it was perfect timing to try Splash Down, the show’s log flume ride. Rode my second chairlift in two days and also got to experience the new coaster.

One train comfortably fit four of us. It started spinning on the second part of the lift hill. It has lots of tight turns and a head chopper element towards the end. It seems to be themed to the Avengers and was called X Coaster, although it sounds like they want to change its name to West Coaster. Still no clues as to the owner.

It’s been a great eight days of the Perth Royal Show, except for yesterday’s storm where they actually closed the show early, I think most ride operators did really well over the course of the week. We hope to see just as good a line up next year. Today was my fourth visit in 10 days.
