Still don't understand the event dates post Xmas. Just such a weird decision for mine.

They are for people who visit the GC post boxing day, since that is the busiest period.

I haven't been to WC before, but was just wondering what the ride queues are like. Because the event is only 3 hours I'd imagine if people were to do rides you would only be able to do a couple and then watch the main parade at the end of the night. What else is there to do at it?

When I went last year (20th Dec) everything was 15 mins max for the main rides. The kids rides had queues 30min+

Yeh 30mins tops if they are running efficiently.

I'm glad for the dates after xmas as I'm going to be on the other side of the country for the whole of the period it's on before xmas. I've never made it to a white xmas before, hoping I like it

Speaking of White christmas I spent a whole day today doing my Christmas lights.

^cool story. I went to Dreamworld (and Woolworths, IGA and BWS).

And ate pizza.

I also checked out the carols and saw the parade (get to the parade early for a good spot). I only rode Superman Escape twice at the end of the night (it's awesome at night!). Tip: Go to the park during the day to see the Christmas film at the Roxy and ride Scooby Doo as there is a very limited time during the night.

Depends what you want out of it.

It's certainly a family oriented event, I really enjoy it, but can see why teenagers would be bored, as for them it's really just the later opening hours for the rides that offers something

Ill be taking wife and child and we want to hit up a few rides too. I think I might have another try
