Bumping up a topic here, but what I’m about to tell you all is very important.    If you have never used them, I highly recommend. When you next visit Dreamworld, use the toilets in tiger islan

  • No doubt folks here will appreciate a more in-depth look so i've attached a few shots. Giving the kids a chance to get up so close to the tigers is a big win, which will no doubt inspire more of the n

This matches my theory about this setup being a temp tiger nursery display. The Tiger Nursery in Tiger Island is a Quarantined area, meaning the Tiger Island refurb will probably be going ahead. As for the future of Kevil Hill, well, time will tell if it gets engulfed by Tiger Island, or if it makes a return as a Maze/ Laser Tag in the future.

This year I hope they stop redoing all the rides and make an actual ride.

Don't say that to loud you give DW ideas about just building rides and letting park go to waste again how it was not to long ago.:D

In fairness, that's almost out of sight and clearly shows penguin encounter signs on the building. It's to be expected there.

The way it is at the moment, based solely on the photos provided, there's no indication that's going to be part of Tiger Island, obviously it is, but paranoid penny in the park may not make the connection.

Yeah, but who cares what those people think?

As it's not only Gold Rush Countries 30th year but WWWs 10th year do you think DW will be do anything for WWWs anniversary and does anyone how much WWW has left to expand on ?

Hopefully some shade. And maybe a dark walk-through/ride. Plus maybe a monorail to connect the two parks.

Oh reanimated, how could you forget the most important thing that makes Dreamworld special.. turbines! no area in Dreamworld is complete with a turbine :P

Ok, what about a water slide that ends in a turbine? It's for when you just want to end it all, but go out having some fun.

This would have to be a pretty expensive upcharge though to cover the cleaning costs.

So they're just leaving ZE there and putting an exhibit in-front?

What a fantastic backdrop, I've always wanted to see a zombie tiger.

we have a dinosaur on a ride based on the Gold Rush.

TOT2 and MotorCoaster in Main Street..

now we have Tigers now in Ocean Parade / Kevil Hill..

Whats next for Dreamworld? ?

This is the problem.

ToT is in tiger island.

A new tiger island exhibit is in Kevil Hill.

The two tiger exhibits are split apart.

ToT and Kevil Hill, which both have relatively similar theming, are split apart.

See, it all makes sense now - Dreamworld must've gotten their plans mixed up and built the attractions round the wrong way! ToT was meant to be in Kevil Hill, fitting with the apocalypse theme, leaving the ToT land for the new tiger island exhibit!

(Don't ask me how they'd get the ToT track from Kevil Hill to the tower, but at least building a tunnel through the Dreamworks experience is more logical than splitting the theming).
