Yeah I noticed there is no date on them either...  30th June (24 days)...  Wonder if it is an oversight or they decided to save on the printer ink?

Because they usually don't give a new pass if you renew your pass, i'd say the reason for lack of expiry is just that.

ok. maybe they changed it but back when it was just VIP, usually a renewal would be electronically renewed, without need for new photo or pass.

If you have a VIP Pass you have to renew it every year. No matter when you buy it, It always expires June 30th unless it was advertised to continue through to the following year. Eg When they start selling them in May/June to continue through this year to the following June 30th. With the Memberships they automatically renew if you don't cancel them so they are ongoing and don't have an expiry date.

If you actually receive an email to renew your VIP Pass and you follow the link and are actually purchasing what is called a Renewal then you continue to use the same pass. We get a lot of people that think they are buying renewals and show up with their old passes to find that they actually just repurchased the same pass so the ones they have are expired. They then need to get a new one printed.

So I got a VIP Pass today, and the quality of the pass is getting cheaper and cheaper. When they first came out it was plastic, then paper laminated, and now it's just a bit of paper. Talk about cost cutting.

No, The VIP pass is still the 'laminated glossy paper thing' but the Membership cards are a hard plastic like a bank card.

Dreamworld's membership cards are hard plastic, same as VRTP's

Wasn't SW having problems with their pass printers lately?

Yeah, They often run out of the laminated paper so they print the pass on just plain paper so you can still use it. You can take it back anythime to get it reprinted as long as they have the laminated stuff in stock. Same with MW and WNW

I messaged them asking about the paper pass, and they said that they were having issues with their printers and I can get a laminated one at the ticket booths on my next visit.

I had the recent displeasure of being slugged a $10 fee after I updated my credit card details and for whatever reason the next monthly charge was declined.

Have to jump through hoops for them to consider waiving it given there was nothing wrong with the card.

I miss just paying annually..
