Kind of non news until mid next year, but this seems pretty cool none the less.

Brogent Technologies, a Taiwan-headquartered company that specialises in simulation technology, has announced its intention to bring its innovative i-Ride Flying Theatre to Brisbane.

Brogent’s decision to bring its flying theatre to Brisbane follows their success with Fly Over Canada, which has become a popular tourist attraction in Vancouver.

Brogent is in the process of identifying the ideal Brisbane location for its i-Ride Flying Theatre. Work on the project is expected to start in mid-2017.

↑The brogent system has movement, just like Soarin'.

Its not extreme like a typical motion simulator, just subtle tilting.

Yay, happy to have one here.

Very excited about this! I loved Soarin' over at DCA, so this should be good. Like other forum members, I've always thought a flying theatre/Soarin' style ride would be perfect for either Movieworld, Seaworld or Dreamworld. Pity it's not going into one of the parks; but will still make the travel up to brissy, when it's built.
