Thanks @Theme Park Girl! It doesn't look like a whole lot has changed since when I visited a week ago. I had to use the amenities behind that big screen and was a little disappointed to see they haven't been upgraded. Maybe there is still a plan to properly address them once the new Exit precinct opens?

That' a sexy brick wall. I'm jealous. Will be interesting to see how many people exit through here, or go out via the entrance/Lego store.

If you are talking about A @Theme Park Girl I might be able to shed some light on that.  Behind that block wall is the main cold room. 

A new small store room was to be built so staff could travel from the cold room to the Market Place without going outside.

 

 

 

Door 1 is the old door into the cold room.

 

Door 2 is the door that leads into the Market Place.

 

I can't tell from your photo if it has been completed but from the last Lego construction photo I could find the area was still open.

Don't know where you read that because I just checked and it definitely doesn't say it is, or even advertise it

 

I was looking at the map online and it wasn't on there. Is it in park?

On DWs website in the food and beverage section it is now show, but as opening soon.

I got a copy of the park map when I was there last week and the parkway patisserie is listed as open so I guess they must've pre-empted it's opening.

Probably miscalculated how many maps they'd go through before the changeover, ran out of the old ones so had no choice but to roll out the new ones.

Looking good. When I went to the park the other day, and got a park map, and the store isn't shown on it again.

The water heating at WWW will be something I welcome this time of year. Even in the Gold Coast it's not ALWAYS hot weather! In fact, this may well persuade me to go to WWW more often than Wet & Wild in the winter #firstworldproblems!
