Intamin updated

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, just thought i'd ket you know that the Intamin (and Ride Trade) website has been updated with new photos etc. Here's a good photo of the Gyro Swing that we're hopefully getting (i'm talking about the design not the actualy ride!) EDIT: WHOAH! just found some AMAZING PHOTOS FROM LOTTE WORLD!!! Have a look at http://www.lotteworld.com/eng/magic/magic01_04.jsp It's amazing (like I said before!). I love it how "Gyro Swing" at Lotte World has individual perspex shields for each person for those unpreventable mis-haps..... I wonder if we'll get them....

I think I actually prefer the design of the Huss giant frisbee. To me its just more aesthetically pleasing :) But I think thats me just being a little too picky, & you can be sure I'll be more than ecstatic to ride the Intamin version :D Huss version http://www.flatrides.com/Ride%20Index/Huss...antFrisbee2.jpg http://www.flatrides.com/Ride%20Index/Huss...antFrisbee1.jpg oh I hope we don't get those perspex cages, that would annoy me. I wanna feel the wind on my face :)

It's good to see an actual pic of the big hole/circle thing underneath the ride. Now we can finally be quite sure of the reason they are digging that hole at Dreamworld

The perspex shields aren't for mishaps. They're to reduce noise, presubably because of the close proximity of surrounding residents. Maliboomer at Disney's California Adventure has the to, and I'd expect that it'd be unlikely that any ride at Dreamworld would ever get them.

Does the Huss Giant Frisbee have a higher swinging angle than the Intamin Gyro Swing? That 2nd picture of the Frisbee is great and I have never seen any pics of a Gyro Swing at that same amazing angle. I hope it does otherwise I'd prefer the Frisbee for both looks and riding enjoyment
