Look at the supports that have been installed. Smaller crane moving supports around, but no major work on the track. And GL seems to operate when the crane isn't in use 

Here's my pointless update for this weekend. (Honestly though, the coverage this week has been amazing and extensive!)

However, not everything has been covered! Which means there is actually something to mention

Grouting of the supports has started around the Incline Dive Loop and the work on the Non-Inverted Loop seems to be torquing - definitely sounds like it.

As I was in somewhat of a rush, here are my moving-car shots for the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of July.

Driving alongside all of this is going to be awesome. Imagine racing the train along the bunny hills. you can do it in roughly two months. (Hopefully, all the construction fences are gone once testing starts)

The incline on the lift hill is going to be terrifying... for most guests.

There are only three main lift hill supports. and two of them are *partially* complete.

The lift hill track reaches the height requirement for almost every kids ride on the Gold Coast.

All track is now complete except for lift hill

Roof has been installed over station and queue

@themagician did you get the chance to take pictures of the track after the helix? We don't have any pictures of that part yet. Awesome pics!

No, there is plenty more track to be installed. The supports installed today just reach the height of GL at 33 meters, that means there's about another 25-30 metres of supports to go up on the one they were working on today.

Also, the first train arrived on site today in one of the shipping containers. No photos, but will try to get some in the couple of days when I have my camera.

Ourwords posted an image, maybe @Slick will be kind enough to share it here too.

Train is no longer in the compound. 

Will they have 2 trains going simultaneously?

Doubt 2 trains will ever be running through the course at once since there is no MCBR. So most likely one loads while one is in the course.

train 1 will depart as train 2 hangs in the break run for a moment.

There will be a trim brake (probably magnetic) to bring the speed down, followed by a block brake (mechanical) which is capable of actually stopping the train. Once a train enters this block brake, the chain lift will be declared empty and allow for the train in station to depart.

Once the station train has departed, it marks the station block as empty and the block brakes release the train to roll around into the station. The station is now occupied, the chain lift is occupied but the block brake is empty. Only in these conditions will the chain lift take the train entirely to the top and allow it to crest the hill. Once this train reaches that block brake again, the chain lift is then declared empty again and the cycle goes on...

I thought as per Greg's last update the trains were going to stay in the compound so we could see them getting assembled.

Thats what I was thinking @Skeeta, however if the second train hasn't arrived yet, that might be the one they will have on display for assembly and for use for the advert. Or they are waiting on the other parts of the train to arrive, and for now they've closed the container shut.

I thought the exact same thing when the train arrived and was promptly hauled off the compound. It's gotta be the second train that will get assembled in the maintenance bay. Greg did also mention that the train will be sitting in the compound to film the TVC too.
