Will VRTP put as much effort into this thing as DC Villains area, or will all the dough go into the ride itself, such as Green Lantern?

I'm expecting probably a mix between the two. Some great theming but maybe not on the same level as the DC Villains area.

Your update for the 10th of June 2017. (and probably my largest so far) Comparison Photo 1 (Stengel/Inclined-Dive Loop): Non-Inverted Loop is becoming more and more visible with each passing

Scan your wrist band on the pole beside the track mid ride as you fly past at 100km/h.  What could go wrong?

How about a hyper into a mid course dark ride followed by the worlds first inverted (upside down launch) or a launch that launches you through an inline twist whilst still launching u

It might be something like helix with a few launches

I was hooked until that last bit. That would just be painful.

When are they gonna announce the god dam thing? Also when would they start putting the supports and track together, and how long would it take to complete?

hopefully they announce it soon, our parks are so shit when it comes to announcing new rides.

Be patient. Whilst there was talk of an announcement in August, do keep in mind the rollercoaster is not due to open for a maximum of 15 months. If they revealed everything now, apart from the occasional construction update, what will us Parkz forum members have to speculate or discuss until then? All the questions would have been answered. There are also many other reasons to not announce something such as licensing agreements, industry competition or generally, just the state of progress in the project.

We also speculated that any announcement won't come until well after the DC Comics Super-Villians Unleashed area would be opened so the general public won't get confused between the 2 new additions.

Gold Coast Bulletin published an article in today's paper (page 5) regarding a teaser about the new roller coaster.

In the article a VRTP spokesperson says "plans for a steel-structured sit-down extreme roller coaster for the park with an opening date of 2017".

Sweeeeeet! :-D Let the speculation begin.....continue!

Yeah you are probably right. I'm fairly new to this and new to posting stuff on anything, so any help and guidance is appreciated.

Do I change it somehow or will the moderators, etc do it, if they deem it necessary of course.  Is it really that much of an issue though?

Going down this morning for the 8:30am early entry to check it all out.

Thanks to everyone for keeping us all up to date
