So you’re saying that because of your article about a porn star, Dreamworld went back to the drawing board for a new name for the ride.

Can't see any issues with this one!  Yes the name is a bit 'bland', but with a good marketing campaign behind it, I believe this one will take off.

Free marketing idea right here  (if they can get the rights).

Perhaps the “sky Ryder” name means that we will finally see the VR experience put on the motocoaster beacuse that is what it’s original name was.

It's not unprecedented for Ardent to trademark a few names before settling on one.

SKYWORLD

SKYVIEW

THE LAIR

THE PLACE TO PLAY

EAT BOWL PARTY

MAIN EVENT FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT

MOTORSPORTS EXPERIENCE

And………………………………………………

SkyRyder hasn’t been withdrawn yet.

I was going to say the same thing - that perhaps they've chosen to register a couple before finally deciding on one, however -

The new name was lodged on thursday. If it isn't because of the Parkz article, its a pretty big damn coincidence!

Given that it's obvious  (and Dreamworld management would be well aware) that the mainstream media get a lot of their theme park related content from this site, they'd be very silly not to take action on becoming aware of a potentially embarrassing blunderlike this.

I'm not suggesting anything @AlexBI'm only adding more meat to the discussion for people to maul on.

I guess "Sky Voyeur" was taken.

SkySpy? 😀

Did you hear the one about the sky @Jdude95?

Never mind, it's over your head.
