On a more serious note, if Dreamworld were to look to purchase one of these, it wouldnt be the worst decision in the world.

They look visually appealing and by all accounts, the Thunderbolt at Luna Park New York is popular and has garnered positive reviews.

That is a decent looking coaster I must say. But that minimum height (130cm) requirement as pointed out by AlexB is an issue. Especially when children at 120cm can ride TOT2 and HW. If you are after family you have to try and at least cater the best you can for the market you are after.

If they were to head towards these kinds of rides it would not be the end of the world by any means. Heck imagine is MDMC got replaced. Kids between 110cm and 130cm (I think) can only go on the sidecars. Sometimes the queues for the sidecars are long even on days that are not terribly busy.

Sorry to say they’re a universally panned ride experience. Rough as guts and uneventful.

On a more serious note, poached Gregs anyone?

I shared the picture as a bit of a joke. Obviously there's not a high level deal going down in full view of the public.

But it's also an indication that DW obviously arent ruling out second tier manufacturers like zamperla. They make a cool looking Wipeout clone but beyond that there's not much that would actually help DW.

And no those zamperla coasters look like steaming hot piles of garbage. The fact that they havent taken off is probably a good indication of their quality and popularity.

First thing Greg needs to do is fix the ridiculous operating hours.

3pm on a Sunday, the park is busy yet we have:

- ABC4Kids/Wiggles

- Trolls area

- Log ride

all closed at 3pm

in your prime family attendance time. It’s just stupid.

And almost everything else closed by 4. The carousel and the dronkey flyers close at 4pm, there’s literally nothing for kids under 110cm to do do after 4 o’clock.

closing all those junior rides early could mean that families will leave early as they’ve done everything they can

Which is exactly what we did...

What’s even more embarrassing is that at 2:30- 2:45 all the queues in ABC Kids were full. They literally had to close the queue line on Big Red Car so no one else could join so they could be closed on time.
