It's not 2020 anymore. Here's a new thread with all your favourite Nearmap updates all in one place.

(Construction specific images can be found in the relevant construction threads)

First up - everybody's favourite waterpark (June 5 2021)

image.thumb.png.afcf7e83f2307ca1eaa53bba77edd666.png
A little 'spruce up' looks underway for the WNW\AOS entry driveway - all the garden beds are dirt, and there's plenty of water thrown around - hopefully something nice and pleasing for the driveway as a little welcome to guests is on the way...

image.thumb.png.f813546f1d589af61ffb5e6e656dad45.png

Movie World - Also 5 June 2021

image.thumb.png.325d491c1e790e99fbed38ea5d460cfe.png

Dreamworld - 28 May 2021

This really gives you an idea of park attendance lately - the cars parked closest to the park gates are by far outnumbered by the cars parked over by the coaster construction. (This was taken on a friday)

image.thumb.png.98fd9fb2cea20520d8485bdb2541d9f4.png

Also spotted in the maintenance area - a GD gondola shell, as well as - THE MISSING DRONKEYS!

image.thumb.png.66573acb58798a2f80ff5ae0195fb6b9.png

Out back of the Shell appears to be some of the removed railway tracks...

image.png.d4c49053eb02a71e94b8050883b533af.png

White Water World shows its bones with most of the pools being completely drained for the Winter shutdown.

image.thumb.png.08f71e37f312858f414e89232672985c.png

And we'll finish up with Sea World - also taken on 5 May 2021

image.thumb.png.ba196ce4d97e41fa39e7efd7ac2ad184.png

The village parks do look a lot busier - but bear in mind that the Dreamworld shots were all done on a friday, whereas the village parks were all shot on a Saturday...

Not sure if its the recent eclipse or the cold, but i'm feeling generous... ;)

I did do a Leviathan image over in the construction thread, so I assume you're just after Vortex and the Trident space?

Amazing how Vortex's best angle is from high above in the air.

That was the view the decision makers had when looking at the 3D model.

(and it shows, by how much of a 'sore thumb' the machine room is from the ground, compared this the aerial shot...)

Luckily Trident will be right next to it, so many guest will soon be able to see

Going by the shadows, it appears to be an image from before, or just around park opening.
That said, your comment on low visitors sounds fair.

Based on the shadow length and the reported height of Buzzsaw, its more around 6am. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice... ;)

@DaptoFunlandGuy would you possibly be able to send updates for Adventure World, Aussie World and Jamberoo please.

Sorry mate - This is a themepark discussion forum so i've only done updates for the theme parks... 🤣

Great pics! Can you please post a hi-res pic of DC Rivals alone? Been frustrated it’s still not on Google Maps yet!!!!

The only major change i've been able to find is that there appears to be a stack of reo (rebar \ reinforcing steel sheets) stacked on the approximate site of Trident.

This one is from 22 July. None of the new construction at the bottom of Rocky Hollow has occurred yet, nor has any of the taipan pathways at the bottom of the wall.

image.thumb.png.73fe34b86ca12514e4d08957cef0091e.png

There's a drop gondola, and a section of railway track in the maintenance area

image.png.2db9b517181905f0ba85575d4b3d641b.png

The hotdog is in storage

image.png.20e1639f007e73b7b22542e576e26697.png

We do however have movement on the train - the edge of the taipan site has been cleaned up and the train has moved a few times in recent months:

image.png.625841a1e6a9ccd13801f69bd7c99fb1.png

Here you can see the carriages on their own (far left) - the loco is elsewhere (i know, right? it's bright red and hard to miss, but it just isn't there)

image.thumb.png.8dd26b3bc9ad435d277b2360ea14229e.png

Now you see it... now you don't!

image.png.ad47d77298131eddb1f627017d006bc2.png

Also - the ToT skull was in position on 28 May and gone by 10 July. I've checked and can't see it sitting around anywhere - anyone see where it went?

Here's a quick overview on Jamberoo

image.thumb.png.4abbf6054be97fa66ce578417e7bc484.png

Lots of pieces on site to the left, and they've made pathways to the site from left and right sides of the park boundary - but there doesn't even appear to be footings at all, and still looks like they're shaping the site \ site prep.

Aussie World looks to be expanding their carpark to the north along Frizzo Rd (and judging by how full it is on this wintery July day - that's probably necessary!

I think I remember Magician saying it was removed and not kept, I took that to mean it was smashed up and put in a skip
