Had the best year ever for Roller Coaster riding and Credits!! These were probably my favourite coaster experiences- but hard to choose!! When you go on a trip with 32 coasters to ride its a VERY good year!! 1) Mako ( Seaworld Orlando) So far the best coaster I have ridden period. Its an airtime monster. Brilliant and when I was there a walk on!! 2) Montu ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Best invert that I have experienced. Forceful and yet smooth- loved re-riding this coaster 3) Expedition Everest ( Disney's Animal Kingdom) The best that Disney has to offer. Brilliant theming and a great coaster from none other than Vekoma!! 4) Rock "N Roller Coaster ( Disney's Hollywood Studios) Excellent indoor launched coaster had quite a few surprises! 5) Space Mountain ( Walt Disney World) Great ride despite its age- really enjoyed this one and the rare behind seating of the trains 6) Cheetah Hunt ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Best family /thrill coaster we rode. Absolute joy to ride 7) Shiekra ( Busch Gardens Tampa) My first dive coaster and what a brilliant experience!!! 8) Manta ( Seaworld Orlando) First flying coaster and what a beauty!!! B& M goodness and delivers great forces! 9) Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts ( Universal Studios Orlando) The themeing on this is incredible and is what gets it on my list!! 10) Cobra's Curse ( Busch Gardens Tampa) Packed a punch well above its weight, very enjoyable family thrill coaster had a number of surprises!! Brilliant!!

I'm only going to count new coasters I rode this year. 1) DC Rivals 2) Deep Space (Adlabs) 3) Nitro (Adlabs) 4) El Loco (Adventuredome) 5) Gold Rush Express (Adlabs) 6) Canyon Blaster (Adventuredome) 7) Big Apple Coaster (New York New York Casino) 8) Big Dipper (Adelaide Show) 9) Jurassic Coaster (Ekka) It was a quiet year for me.

The only coaster I have done is Abyss.

Thought I’d add in my experience of justice league today: I’d personally like to thank JL for malfunctioning and providing me with this today I was very pleased that I was able to skip the long hot line of Rivals for a nice front seat view. Aswell as it was very nice of them to allow us to actually get off the ride very quickly and actually explain to us what happend it’s also neat that we could actually be given a pass to get straight into another ride. I’ve never heard of this pass before, anyone can clarify on if they’re new or if you’ve received one?

If it’s done right the first time, like Soarin over California was, it won’t need to change for a very long time.

I didn’t want this thread to turn into another case of “who’s top 10 is better”, because we’ve had plenty of those over the years... but since it seems I must explain: this is nothing more than a personal opinion, I don’t expect people to agree with my list. The three Disney coasters I’ve mentioned are great, fun rides, but none of them match the sheer thrills and intensity ToT provides (if you want to argue that then go do it somewhere else). I wouldn’t call RnRC or Crush’s Coaster a Disney masterpiece - Pirates, Star Tours, Disney’s ToT, maybe even HSM yes - but RnRC isn’t much more than an indoor roller coaster with lots of lights, and Crush’s second half isn’t much better than Scooby theming-wise. I doubt someone like @pushbutton would have a similar top 5 to me, but I still respect his personal opinion - some people prefer big, thrilling coasters while others prefer less intense ones that provide more of an “experience”. That is certainly a new thing the Attraction re-admission pass. Previous procedure was never mention anything like it if there was an evacuation / malfunction but if someone complained to Guest Services they would normally be escorted through the exit of the ride once it's reopened. I think it's a great idea that they have done something like this, and will increase guest happiness if they get a sub par experience or are unloaded off a ride mid cycle. As an ex employee, seeing the way the new management seems to be running this is really great to see. From a few people I know, they have even been telling me how much better the working environment has become over the last few years so it's really great to see VRTP making all these good changes. It all starts with management, if you have good management that gives a crap about the staff then the staff will give a crap. Guests will be happier and the experience will improve. Here's to seeing what Greg Yong and Clark Kirby do with VRTP over the coming years!

Tower of Terror getting removed? Who in the right mind would get rid of Dreamworld's signature attraction and its only good coaster at this point in time? There's plenty of rides in the park that should be getting the chop well before that ride bites the dust (Hot Wheels and Wipeout are two of these) Dreamworld needs to have built a decent coaster before it takes away the TOT. They can't just get rid of a coaster and leave 4 sub-par coasters as the only ones left over. Hot Wheels is on its last legs, Motocoaster is an embarrassment, Buzzsaw is average, and Madagascar is an ordinary off-the-shelf family coaster that has a track record for being mediocre (see how popular the ones in the States are and you'll understand what I mean). 10 years down the road, we should be revisiting this question, but it's too early at this stage to be even a consideration.

Soarin has changed once, and really that's because they wanted it in parks that weren't american.

Got on the last car of scooby today before it closed, I have never seen it sooooo dark in there ever!!! As well as a new scooby doo fiberglass sculpture thing was been delivered, along with a fair bit of new theming!!

Actually I ageee that it's a really good suggestion in terms of restoring the park to a quality offering. The ride is outdated, lame and obtrusive, not to mention very expensive and aging.
