I'm not sure of that, i'll ask him next time I see him. Disney did come out to see the animatronic show. If only there was land ten miles out. You're welcome. Chatting to a couple of other fitters and engineers of that period, apparently some of the wood that wasn't completely ruined wound up in what is/was the Big Brother Cafe. So, based off part one and two, what else would everyone like to ask John and any of the original engineering team? Feel free to add your thoughts below and i'll ask the best ones on your behalf.

I think the more unbelievable part is picking Joondaulup for the location. There is no room in Joondalup for a Disney land to even be considered.

What a lovely sounding Disneyland, if but forever only in a dream (or half a day once a year!) Written for a West Coast Audience no doubt but the story lost all credibility sighting Perth as the spot for a future DisneyDownunder.. bahahaha No offence Perth BUT at least you have cheap flights to Universal Singapore and (allegedly) the Internet to book your flights to get there🤣

They're certainly not having an "Identity Crisis" they know their market, look, branding, presentation and definitely have an enormous care in what the do, if this wasn't the case the park would be closed or with no investment whatsoever going into it.

Fantastically written, its clear to see you have a genuine passion for Dreamworld and its history. To think, Dreamworld could have been a Sydney fixture if we actually had the land available to him to buy at the time......
