    I'm pretty certain this fenced off area to the right hand side of the staff entrance is signposted as a HLS - although admittedly its been a few years since I went down that end of the carpark. The top right corner of this view shows a Windsock: And here's the google streetview, although there does not appear to be any signage indicating that it is in use, the windsock suggests it's still relatively active:

    I dunno about you but I find walking down back alleys in the GC an attraction in its self.

    Talking to my friends on the Gold Coast who have the opportunity to go more often, apparently these signs appeared around Steel Taipan's opening. I found it hilarious. I know the Sea World layout on the top of my head and even I have difficulty navigating that park. It's full of dead end's that just don't make any sense. You can't intuitively make a line towards many attractions which I'm sure confuses some guests.
