Loose items on that ride are generally bits of the ride Should be but if you cycle a ride less times per hour it's less wear and operating costs for the ride itself. Also "fuck the guests, if they're unhappy they should just pay to skip the queue or come back when it's not busy" is the model they seem to want to run these days so I doubt we'll see things improve quickly anytime soon.

To me having ridden it a few times since the upgrade, the problem was their loading times are shocking. Wouldn't matter if you had 10 boats in the station, the one at the front still holds everything back. Even if you had a second boat waiting between unload and load, nobody can get in it until it moves forward, coupled with only being able to unload one boat at a time, unless the human element improves nothing else is going to make any difference at all. Should have designed the new station to unload/load 2 boats at a time. Then it would have been 100% down to the park staffing it properly to keep the high throughput happening.

So… you don’t need turnstiles… just paint dots on the floor and they’ll work it out? It’s called different safety jurisdictions. Australia is safer. This is why. Because ride computer says no. Or, if parents are apparently incapable of watching their kids, they should supply their own damn wristband!

Phones only due to people pulling them out on ride. You could however bring a beer into the queue line. I'd suggest two though as you'll finish the first before the station.

There used to be a toboggan ride at Gumbuya Park as well. Interesting it was actually a concrete channel (which was quite shallow), rather than a steel channel that most of the other examples feature. i actually ended up with a concrete burn on my wrist last time I rode it:
