Or let’s keep DC out of this corner of the park

Sky Voyager has some of the weakest theming in the park. A handful of random suitcases isn't enough to make it feel like an airport, so removing them doesn't change the experience. The queue could definitely benefit from a complete re-theme, and hopefully that's something DW has on its to do list after the MC re-theme is complete.

I think perhaps you need to go back and re-read what I said. I like the seats. I agree they should face the screens. they could have fitted seats while retaining the baggage carousel, in my opinion. I just think the complete removal of theming is something we've called foul on in other attractions on the coast, and it would be hypocritical of us to applaud this move without at least noting that it came at a cost of theme reduction. the timber fencing is a darn sight better than the pool fencing we have at wild west. I think all our parks locally have shown a move to fencing off water attractions and I don't think we can get away from that - so styling it to suit the theme of the land is possibly the best we can ask for. I don't hate the current rivertown fence - though perhaps they could have missing planks dotted along that still retains 'pool safety' requirements while looking a bit more 'ramshackle'
