  1. You're still so arrogant that you think my replies are for you. I don't believe people have forgotten, and I don't believe it's a case of 'not caring' either. I think it is more a case that the park has earned people's trust. As the saying goes - Trust is built in drops and lost in buckets. Coast has put in a lot of hard work to refill those buckets, and they are being rewarded for treating their customers right. I've been saying for years that nothing would change until people voted with their wallets. Now that that is happening, BGH\Village are learning the hard way why you shouldn't ignore the customer experience.
  2. @Brad2912 It doesn't matter who's left. The lake should always be the centrepiece of SW's entertainment. The fact that SW was built on the foundations of a ski show tells you everything you need to know about how far Village has fallen. At this rate, it's getting harder to remember which park made the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
  3. I know you probably meant September, but just noting it incase anyone is confused. And now that we’re in August, we’re well past the halfway point
  4. Did you mean headlines for executives pocketing kickbacks and embezzlement? or...? ...and movie world was built on the foundations of a movie studio with backlot tours and movie magic...
  5. You mean like they announced Carnivale wouldn't return next year after it had finished this year? You're a mental case. They're only just now making the decisions, and we're mostly clear of winter already. WWW doesn't open until December, but we're essentially at the halfway point of their seasonal closure. It wouldn't make sense to shut the park down now - there's a lot of things like maintenance planning that has to change, supplies and parts to order to get maintenance done in an off season. Plus you need to figure out what to do with your staff. All of this takes time, and kneejerking a shutdown could cost more money than continuing the current season. Some people just don't get it. It still says "12 months entry to Whitewaterworld" on the Dreamworld annual pass too - though you can find 'seasonal' elsewhere. It didn't stop them from cancelling Carnivale and issuing ticket holders a small compensation either - so it won't stop them deciding to close WNW seasonally next season any more than it stops them from running carnivale, or providing a lake show in sea world, or anything else. Saying "they won't do that because they should have done it sooner" is ridiculous.
