    It is, but it’s been happening for decades.     It was very unreliable and was costing the park a lot to keep it running because of all of the work it needed

    The Claw will be open again this Friday and Saturday during the night markets

    Not necessarily. I don’t know the answer, but GD was built a year after TOT and the tower was originally designed to have a drop tower attached to it because they had planned for it. Lex Luthor opened 15 years after Superman opened, My point being, the structure might not have been engineered to stand with the additional lower structure of Superman to support it (the curved structure at the base is what I’m referring to)

    I heard/read that Six Flags is probably looking at closing Superman in the near future because of its cost and reliability issues. I’d love to see Giant Drop reclaim the world record, especially over 13 years later.

    German theme park enthusiast’s who’s home park is Movie Park Germany weren’t impressed by the Australian inspiration?

    It did have its annual maintenance earlier in the year and this ‘maintenance’ was scheduled some what last minute (according to the website) and then was brought forward by a month and has been extended out by a month too.

    Possible train refurb to match Rivertown theme? New trains? Or just general maintenance?

    Might be a soft opening (or they just forgot to update the website). It is listed as a 70min wait though, so good to know the refurb hasn’t improved operations (yes I know the park could be busy and a result of Leviathan and Vortex not operating).

    I’m happy to see the park finally did the bare minimum and actually replace the disgrace that was the 3D version of this. But it still sucks. For what’s a world class coaster, this is less effort than Six Flags put into some of their rides. Another day, another enthusiast complaining, but surely they could’ve come up with something so much better.

    The Claw will be open during the night markets on Friday and could be the last chance for night rides before it closes. Free for passholders, $10 for non-passholders.

    I’d imagine they’re waiting to do that as late as possible so it doesn’t get damaged while moving heavy machinery around the site. Surely a simple guide rail can be installed within a few days?

    - The newest slide tower and splash pad - Wet n Wild Junior - Super 8 Aqua Racer - Constrictor (recently repainted) - Wave Pool - Calypso Beach (has had a bit of love the last few years - Black Hole (recently repainted)

    Nope, but if you have the choice, don’t pay that much and visit the parks next year when things are open.

    My reading of the map is (just to spell it all out) Entry (and exit) into the land Emerald City/Munchkin Land (the main plaza area) You enter into the Emerald Palace (former AA queue building) which will have the lobby area before picking the queue for the coaster you choose You exit where the AA lift hill was and join the outdoor queue for Wicked Witch Or enter the queue for Kansas, which is roughly where the break run for AA was Here’s the exit for Wicked Witch And the exit for Kansas, which joins the exit path that Wicked Witch uses And then there appears to be a couple of paths for lookout points or even just BOH access, but that’s about it.
