Good to see they are using the exhibition centre to help organise the crowd better.

The website does say 10:30, but also says 12:30 and 2:30pm depending where you look. Emails say 12:30 but social media says 2:30. It is only two shows, but not sure which time it actually is

Has anyone been to dreamworld since the vaccine mandate has been in place? I've seen a lot of other places have been ghost towns. Wondering how the theme parks are as we want to make a 5 hour trip down.

If you're an anti vaxxer, you're already the sort of moron that already wouldn't go to DW because it's too dangerous. This time of year is always quiet. WnW is pumping though, and White Christmas events have been well attended. I don't think the anti vax crowd is having much of an impact TBH. The real proof either way will be after boxing day.

On anything, let alone theme parks

Have you been into a single bar or restaurant? Because I haven't found A SINGLE ONE that isn't checking as you enter or sit.

Doesn’t surprise me that there would be a few bad eggs in that area

Places I’ve been have all asked.
I saw one place that would only accept the QLD checkin “tick” or MyGov animated image.

paper copies, screenshots etc were refused entry.

I've linked my MyHealth Vaccine status to my phone's wallet, not the Qld app. Has been accepted fine at dining/bars. Will report when I visit DW soon.
On topic, good to see DW continue their Wiggles relationship. Will certainly help visitor numbers that day.

This worked for me last week at Dreamworld, Movie World & wnw. As my QLD check-in app was not working.

That’s what I meant by the MyGov image , it’s an official record so there should be no reason they dont accept it.

the qld checkin app is easier because it shows checkin and vax status on the one screen.

Ironically most places prefer the apple wallet cert or the check in app ‘tick’ yet both are way easier to forge than the online myGov animated certificate.

**not I haven’t forged them as I have no need but I’ve seen a few!
