Didn’t Disney do this when they were testing Tiana’s Adventure? there is still time for them to add the additional new styled vehicles if that’s still the path they are wanting to go down.

There's a difference with running the exact same boat with different theming, than running a fundamentally different vehicle from what you intend on operating when open?

The point is, Dreamworld's website is still saying "brand new vehicles" yet their CEO has said they're not getting new ones, besides 2 for accessibility reasons, and that they would just be rebuilding the current ones. What we're seeing in Ogre's photo is literally solidifying this point...

To be fair, websites have a knack of being outdated.

(it's good to see they finally took the page down more than a year after the ride officially opened).

It's almost like I flagged this a month ago, and was shut down as it being false.

What you put forward was an interpretation of a shareholder document that others interpreted differently. There was no other public source of information.

What we're seeing suggests you were right about that particular interpretation but based on that document and with no other internal source of information, most folk interpreted differently to you, and the information was open for them to make that interpretation.

Did the old cars have estop buttons on the back?

They didn't even have station brakes - just a lever connected to the accelerator for the operator to control in station to prevent accidental acceleration.

These look like the same chassis, but upgraded. Hard to tell from this angle but i'm assuming they've been converted to an electric drive train. There's a sizeable wad of electronics by the looks of that rear 'seat' box. Cable going up the back of the seat is ugly, leads to a receptacle on the left side of the car by the looks of things, presumably in-station overnight charging?

(Note: I'm aware the image i've used is of a plug socket (female) and is not what would be used as a vehicle mount, I just CBA finding a male receiver, but you still get the idea and only electrical folk are really going to identify the issues - but i know there's always one here that does)

Ok this is going to kill my OCD… notice the stickers are on the back of the wrong seats. They show arms pointing inwards

Noticed on Theme Park Ogre’s YT video, the lever ride ops use to stop the car are on the opposite side now.

Looks like boarding & ops will be on the passenger side.

When the seats have been reattached, the seats have been fixed to the wrong side of the car.   Hopefully they got some cars right for your OCD.
