DW are making it very clear, MC isn't part of Rivertown.

I still wouldn't take it out of the question.

Refitting the ride to go along with the new theme for the area would be an undertaking in it's own right, and maybe not something the park feels comfortable with when they have already lost so many attractions in a short period of time.

But it makes a lot of sense. New trains would do wonders for the ride, I feel like that's mostly people's problems with the ride, it's really uncomfortable. Sure, the layout is not anything to write home about. But I do not think the ride would have a bad reputation around here if it was given less uncomfortable trains.

Noticed this concept imagery I hadn't seen before on the About Us page.

This does look like it's an AI generated image that might have been used internally as part of developing the concept/story for the land/ride. Which is probably why it wasn't ever released and the fact it's hidden deep within the website means it's probably not to be looked into/judged too deeply.

With the site update/new park map - has anyone noticed that Motocoaster falls under the “rivertown” section?

Each land is designated its own colour. Red being main street, blue for ocean parade etc.

Rivertown is a light green - also including Motocoaster.

A couple days ago when the new website launched, the map didn't include the coloured sections and the park map page doesn't show this either

They're seperate

For now! Considering the ride and attraction page lists Motocoaster as being a part of Main Street, but the map on the home page shows its part of Rivertown, I think its safe to assume it will be rethemed and become part of Rivertown at some stage (which we mostly assumed would be happening anyways). It's much easier to change that land label for the ride than it is to change it on a map.

This close I would have expected them to start pushing a specific opening date. they really must be going down to the wire, but the message still says 2024, so they've only got 32 days left. 10 of those are weekends, and 2 are public holidays. So they really only have 21 working days before the year is over.
