I saw more info last night and it seems the impression Jaggs had was like the crazy rider they have at treetops...

Which is cool and all, but capacity on these things sucks (and these things are installed in every local kids play-gym \ party place - there's at least 2 in brisbane that I know of...

Seems like an odd choice though for Aussie World. With all the solid and well executed additions they've added in recent years, why add something that would have been more fitting for the park 20 years ago. Any of the attractions that were listed as being added would've been a good choice

we've still got no info from the park. Jaggs could be smoking something, or getting his info from the dippin' dots guy. At this stage its unconfirmed... so until we get something more specific on site, or a statement from the park themselves, i'm going to view it with that in mind...

The only building approval currently shows is for a ramp & queuing station.

Aussie World's new attraction - The Ramp  (spend 3 hour's on a ramp to nowhere)

Jaggs seems to be a victim of @REGIE earlier post of sarcasm.

Flying coaster confirmed.

All roads still currently lead to Aerobat.

Going off the assumption that their previous plans haven’t changed yet, the positioning of the construction behind their slides, and the ‘flying’ prompt, it could be an Aerobat.IMG_4743.thumb.png.513d97742f02adb72e2122cfc03c8fdc.png

Makes sense given that SX-360 was a Technical Park attraction. Probably brought at the same time as a bundle. Looks to be a pretty good fit for the park IMO, and similar to Tailspin but also different at the same time. Curious as to how it will be themed too.

Looking over Nearmap, I've spotted what appears to be the attraction's name. "Renegade Racers" (??) can just be made out on the roof of the control room.

Not 100% sure the second word is Racers

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but what could be the reason behind Aussie World's extremely long wait for ride commissioning?

I could sarcastically pose many reasons it could be but that wouldn't be helpful.

The first realistic options I can come up with is perhaps that the regulatory requirements in QLD are stricter post-TRRR, and like Sky Voyager, perhaps the regulations for compliance are causing a delay. A smaller park would have less resources to throw at such a problem so it could be taking longer to piece through everything they need to.

From what I'm aware, Sky Voyager and SX360 ran into issues due to the changing regs around that time.

Without directing anything at particular manufacturers - they may assume they are compliant with Australian regs without realising they have changed. They can provide assurance they meet the standards without becoming aware that those standards changed.

At any rate, i've simply put forth a suggestion on why, based on historic examples. i'm not suggesting it as fact, nor should it be read as so. Feel free to put forth your own suggestions on why the ride has essentially sat for months.
