I actually like the green for the Tornado and the colour scheme for the rest of the slides but dont forget that colours in pictures are actually seen differently in person by the human eye.

It sounded like dreamworld was getting a bowl slide. I might of read it wrong though I'm pretty sure that's what it said.[

Went past there today. The Tornado is up now on an angle. The Red Slide peices are all around it too waiting to be placed on the supports. I have been checking out those orange slide peices and i seen some twisted ones. might be a octopus racer. I think.

Did i just read correctly!? TWO BOWLS!? that means i might see one of my beloved toilet bowl slides after all :D :D

I agree, be very cool if they had all of those...especially since at the moment you have to travel over sea's to experience them but dont forget even WNW was small (in terms of rides) when it started out...they start out small to expand later on.

I can't wait for white water world its so exiting. I am really happy with the rides they are putting in with the body boarding wave pool to the tornado, how exiting.

I think those wave pools are like wave houses that people use instead of surfing. I think they do normal ones as well. Hopefully we will get some nice breaking waves though....

Its been raining all day here on the coast. I assume the rain has put off work today on the park. I drove past and nothing else new is up. Apart from those big Wooden poles they have painted them black.

Geez what's going on up there? It seems like it never stops raining at the moment. Very frustrating when we are hoping for construction progress. Hmm black painted wooden poles? I'll be very interested to see how this park all comes together visually when finished

Its good but will slow down the work. But rain is more important. im sick of all these water restrictions...... also tornado frame is still up, no pieces have been added yet

Has anybody been past or to Dreamworld recently? I'm curious to know how much has been done since the last updates.

Should be an update done through the week....photo's taken today so just depends on how busy Rabid is this week.

There's a new and very cool update over on ozcoaster.net Some of you guys should be able to guess some of the attractions the park is getting by looking at the pics closely

Great update, the only thing that confused me was the fact that some parts for the tornado are red, and then it said:

It's big....... It's Green...... It's part of a tornado....

Is it going to be all multi coloured like the other slides or maybe.... something else..... ? EDIT:

Big Slides are good Slides, even when you watch other people having a BLAST on them..

I only just realised what they were HINTING after reading through the update a second time. If we get a master blaster, I will definately be there on the first day it opens.....

I can tell you guys now that if you look at some of the slide pieces in the photos and then do a bit of research (have a look at some of the slides in photos on US waterpark websites) you will get a good idea about some of the stuff they are getting. The Tornado will be all green. The red larger slide pieces are mostly for the 2nd attraction on tower 2 (sharing the tower with the Tornado). Although for some reason the final tubing pieces of the 2nd ride is an off red/brown colour... don't know why they just didn't keep it red

I am starting to get really excited about tower 3! There looks to be some big openings at the top, and some pretty thick support poles as well! Also, those really thin slide pieces, with the big wide curves...do they remind anyone else of the bowl slides that seem to be popping up everywhere in the states?

Yeh, I thought it's either a bowl or one of those turbo tunnels, but you wouldn't want to get stuck in one of those....

I guess only time will tell! Has anyone heard anything about what we can expect to see in the near future? I'm guessing things are really gonna start moving along seeing as though they need to do the WHOLE path structure etc. Or will they do this as they go along?

I would guess that wouldn't happen until after all the slides are in place, as if a crane or other heavy machinery were to drive over a path it would probably crack it.

Judging by the pics and obvious hints on the short update on OzCoaster, I think we can safely add an octopus racer to our confirmed list!
