Visited WWW yesterday for the first time since 2010! Wow where has the time gone?    I think it was definitely a wise choice to focus on DW first, it was in a much worse state and WWW although

My original idea was for a shared food outlet but what made me explore other ideas was that I cannot remember the last time I have seen any food outlet in that area open.

As part of WWW relaunch, that area of DW really needs some life injected into it.

If we're being realistic, that whole end of the park needs a massive Rivertown level upgrade.  Gold Coaster is now 30 years old.  It's rough and unreliable, and it's approaching the end of its life.  That station area could be used for another slide tower.

The Thuderbolt plot has been sitting empty for 20 years and is perfect for a WWW expansion - including a lazy river.  You could even put a new coaster in that area and have it interact with the water park like GC currently does.

Effectively everything from the Wipeout plot through to Kevil Hill needs redevelopment.

Something like Barrels Smokehouse being moved to bridge the parks would be good - especially if they were to build a proper (themed) bar on the DW side so there's a place for adults to just chill and have a drink.

My prediction is they will remove wedgie and I actually think they will remove slides 2 and 3 and rebrand fully 6. I cant see them reopening them tbh. I really don’t want another wedgie just sitting there being an eyesore season after season

It would be relatively inexpensive to replace slides 2/3 with a differently shaped flume - maybe a double-down drop which wouldn’t allow riders to pick up as much speed.

@wikiverserestore the Thunderbolt facade station to its former self and install an 80's bugger joint inside.

The million dollar question. Do you keep Keith Lord's name on the signage?

While I appreciate nostalgia, (and would love to see the old Cinema Facade restored, personally (and probably controversially) I would tear down the old thunderbolt building in any redevelopment.

It was placed there specifically for Thunderbolt and if you're expanding the water park and possibly building a new GC replacement, I'm not sure that the existing building is in a great spot, or the best size/layout for a food outlet.

Design the entire area as though nothing is there, and build it from the ground up to have a proper connection between the parks with appropriate, well-themed attractions that fit into the space.  The possibilities of what you could build to last the next 30 years shouldn't be hindered by trying to save an old building that was built for a mediocre coaster that was demolished 21 years ago.

There are better ways to honour the legacy of the park's former attractions.

On the topic of fully 6, are they crazy slow or is it just me? When I was there it seemed like almost every person was absolutely crawling down the slides.

Common Polin Slide issue. Never seems to be enough water pressure.

Polin slides age like milk and are built of straw (https://www.cockburnarc.com.au/Play/Waterslides)

Hopefully parks will give up cheaping out by going with them.

Crane onsite near the wedgie, hydrocoaster, I wonder if the wedgie is being removed? Also crane onsite in the carpark around the claws new pieces

I would reckon that dreamworld would be sick of dealing with Triple Vortex's full season downtimes for the past few years so unless they can sort out that slide's issues, I wouldn't be surprised either to see Triple Vortex taken down either this off season or the next.

That's a shame - Triple Vortex was fun. They'd have to be disappointed having to remove at least two of the 'newer' slides surely. It's not a big park as it is

From what I have heard Triple Vortex is staying but I dont know when or if it will  reopen.
