RCDB got rivals' height incorrect. Iffy on sources sometimes but do agree on the whole

i mean, they did confirm that Dreamworld was getting a Mack Multi Launch.

I have a FEELING, this came from a misunderstanding from the use of wrong maitainence fencing. There were fencing around the park with something like "Get Ready For The Rat". With a subtitle of "New coaster coming soon". Thing is "The Rat" was the old name for Dingo Racer as it was the owners idea and the staff didn't like that.

Problem is that the fencing was used for the Ferris wheel and the sectioned off area of SX 360 and Renergade Racers (an upcoming flat ride), potentially confusing people to think a new coaster is coming to Aussie World.

In fact, Aussie World has never confirmed or even started construction on a new coaster and wanted to start building the water park instead.

The Ferris Wheel has also officially retired at the park, hence why it has fencing around it, but it has a very small footprint and definitely won’t fit a coaster.

We are also still waiting on their Aerobat to open, which has been under construction for 18 months now. If a coaster were to be opening, considering no construction has started it wouldn’t be opening until 2027 at the earliest (based on the parks recent track record).

Not exactly, I was a part of the Sunny Coastin event and the maitainence head stated that they are getting a motor replacement. So we could be expecting the Ferris wheel back. Unsure when tho.

If they want to, they could replace it with a tower based ride (like the toppling tower ride) (but this is more so a rumor)

@Coppertine if that’s the case, their website is lying!

hm.. if that's the case, that could be the new tower based ride. unsure what model, but we shall see. But honestly, I don't see it as a new coaster anytime soon (if it did, it might replace Bug Run.. maybe)

Maybe it's linked with the event the Theme Park Cartel held at Aussie World the same day? I know they had a Q&A with the park planned so maybe it was confirmed there?

I was there on the day. Never was about any coasters, they did kind of confirm a HUSS Topple Tower, but it can be a different tower ride of course. (and of course Water Park and Renergede Racers)

Are topple towers still in production lol?

If they get one of those they’re clearly not doing their homework. If you thought doomsday was the biggest lemon of a ride on our shores think again.

It’s listed on their website, so id assume it’s still available.

But to my knowledge they are incredibly unreliable and there aren’t many left operating

Wasn't expecting that! Those rides look crazy. Not the best choice for sure if it does happen, but I kind of want them to do it anyway so I can finally see one in action lol

Now that is something I would finally make the drive to go on

Tbf, I heard them say "tilting tower ride from Eftling".. so it was mostly a misunderstanding from me as they MIGHT have meant Pagode from Eftling. But they also said that they have not finalised on a model at all (so it could even be additional seating or an extra shop).. wooops

And it seems that I was right. Looks like RCDB fell for the oldest trick in the book. This is placed just in front of SX 360 as that was going under maintenance. I'll see if I can get in contact with RCDB tonight through email (and hope the cyclone doesn't foil said plans)
