Interestingly they have been some changes with when rides are closed and while some rides still have maintenance lasting a couple months, the majority of them are much shorter. Maybe this is the beginning of a shift in how the park is operated, because if so, it’s great to see (but a shame it’s taken this long)

I hope so, obviously school holidays are peak time but there are still plenty of visitors the rest of the year so it's poor form to drag out maintenance windows longer than necessary.

Some observations from the planned maintenance periods:

- Superman planned maintenance in March implies they hope to have the ride open again before then, which is good news.

- Flash out of action for two months smells like cost savings. Since relocation, has this ride been closed more days than it's been open? Better than sitting SBNO at WNW I guess, but not by much.

I think this maintenance period for hypercoaster rules out any chance of them painting it next year

Wasn't this the case as Surfrider too, closed more than open?

i think Rivals maintenance period at the start of the year is purely for the repainting, i believe it’ll still have its normal maintenance period later on in the year. they might be separating it into two different periods so the ride isn’t closed for a very long period of time.

yeah, but it was always a piece of crap that was supposed to be improved when being relocated and the drive system replaced.
