I didn't hate the ad that much though, I think somewhat it needs to be how it is because this ride is more kids/family and they're probably somewhat aiming at pester power. The Thrill Ride will be more of that seen for TOTII to entice the thrill seekers/teens/adults.

Is it just me or does Dreamworld have an obsession with Turbines? Between the one in the Cyclone queue, and (from what I understand) TOT2 is now somehow turbine related, and now references to turbines on this new addition, I think there is a bit of a trend forming here...

Probably irrelvant and no need to mention it but the Mick Doohan Motocoaster is closed for maintenance from 15 June with no conclusion date. When I was up at the Gold Coast couple of months ago, I noticed the Motocoaster closed without being scheduled. Is this a poorly maintained or badly designed/run ride? Well it is badly designed in some way - not the 'thrill' ride I was expecting lol. Or (even though to me its unlikely) is something happening in that area? But there was probably no need to mention this - Motocoaster to me doesnt make much difference open or closed lol.

That would explain why the size didn't match any of the Disc'o's

My brother's flatmate works at the park and was telling me on the weekend that the hydraulic equipment caught fire/starting emitting smoke and they had to close it.

Guys I just heard from a friend of a friend of a sister's boyfriend's cousin's nephew that the real reason it's down is that Nickelodeon was pissed DW was removing all their theming from the park that they came in one night and sabotaged it! True Story

Ok must be dodgy lol. I now remember Jet Rescue was running when I was at Gold Coast last April but it was running a train with 1 broken carriage. Motocoaster seemed a lot worse though in my opinion because it was closed all day when I was there. But Jet Rescue is the better of the two in my opinion.

Looks alot smaller than i thought it would be.. But i gues im comparing it to some of its bigger versions?? Though cant wait to give it a spin when i head up in september, by the looks of things ill just be missing out on the new coaster

The presentation of the thing looks pretty bad. I say presentation because it doesn't seem to have ANY theming. Dont think there's much time to change that either.

In relation to theming there is some I believe, there is a set of blue doors at least.. it's in a photo of one of the many face book pages. I have totally forgotten which though. I will go hunting for it/
