  • Don't be confused Gazza. It is really true. Mack are refurbishing both rides so that they use the ONE pumping system, even though both rides are a significant distance from each other. You have to tru

  • Presuming she is talking about Seal Harbour. I mean, it would be pretty foolish of Kujotess to believe/suggest that a Mack water coaster could be completed and ready in 6 weeks from now.

The thing is they were the right way up when I opened them and all. Just say you like the photos and talk about the ride. And in the second image if you take a look at the old path they cut out a section and put in a footer. So it looks kind of funny.

I'm so confused about what's going on in those pics. In the 2nd pic the flume channel looks new and as if it is made out of concrete, not fibreglass. IS it new? ie. did they have to construct a new channel to accommodate the new attraction?

And from the placement of those footers around the new flume trough it would appear that the water coaster would travel directly over Vikings at this point. At what height is open to speculation.

I posted this in the futureoffun thread i started, but it's also relevant here and the proper place for discussing the options: Sea World is launching a new attraction themed around an immense sea storm. Which Name do you prefer? Storm Coaster (5%) Storm Runner (8%) Storm Rider (33%) Storm Chaser (54%).

Geez, attractions announced 2 years out? We're turning into Disney! Also, I swear the graphic artist chose gorilla shots with the silliest facial expressions.

Mm only around 2 years until we find out. Maybe it's something to replace Dinosaur Island, a new 4D movie or something in the kids area...

<<Speculation>> Those who have been on Parkz for a while would know Hippos and Saltwater Crocs have both been rumoured to be added to the park at some point...The Gorillas are a new one, but they could well just balance the area out.

The Dino Island replacement... It's a temporary attraction remember. Probably will only be there for a year and a bit

I think it would be more major...You wouldn't announce animatronic gorillas 2 years in advance. And if its actual live animals, you'd need to do some decent reclamation on the ski lake to fit animal habitats and back of house support areas (Its currently a thin strip of land remember)

or something in the kids area...

Again, a kids flat ride themed to gorillas or cros or hippos wouldn't be announced now. I reckon this is gonna be a "big one". Just like the water coaster.

Although i can't remember where to find the standards, Gorillas (the Silverback's in the picture) require quite a large amount of space....combine that with a Saltie (small space) and hippos require a moderate amount of space. All in all they will HAVE TO obtain a larger island, and it's now illegal to import "exotic" animals, so these will have to be obtained from another zoo....

I'm just excited that it seems that Seaworld is getting THREE new attractions over the next 2 years. Not sure how gorillas are relevant. Ah who cares.

Maybe it is some kind of ride similar to the night safari at Singapore Zoo but with animatronics or something.

Wouldn't 3 kinds of animals be a bit small? And unless they build a pond, the salt water will beat the shit out of the croc.....

Three? with the river involved, i am starting to think it may be some type of Jungle Cruise? However it seems incredibly dangerous with crocs so it's probably not, it looks exciting though and I certainly wasn't expecting another announcement, I hope they announce the replacement for LTRR next...

Perhaps the "Storm Coaster" won't utilise the indoor section from the Bermuda Triangle and this will be a river cruise inside the showstage??

You've been watching way too many movies.... They WONT touch ANYTHING bigger than themselves. Plus if they go to a Croc Farm, they're normally hand picked....

I am really not too interested in animal films or docos, so actually I'm pretty clueless on everything about crocs.
