Seal Harbour @ Sea World

Well I disagree, and counted about 3 there, a couple swimming round together in the front right lagoon plus one sitting on the steps at the back near the feeding area. NZ fur seals only, no Australian or Californian Sea Lions at present. 3 or 4, it's certainly not yet close to the population of 20 mooted when the exhibit was announced: http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2012/08/22/437108_gold-coast-theme-parks.html which kinda goes along with my prediction that we'll see the main marketing push when they've all been happily settled in and the lagoons are busy with seals.

Official opening is scheduled for tomorrow.

Sea World’s newest animal exhibit ‘Seal Harbour’ will officially open tomorrow providing guests with an opportunity to get up close and personal with the playful seals and sea lions. The multimillion dollar paradise for seals will be home to cute and cuddly New Zealand Fur Seals, sleek Californian Sea Lions and Sub-Antarctic Fur Seals. Seal Harbour will be a spectacular home for seals, featuring natural sandy bottomed lagoons with crystal clear waters, glass petitions and specially designed boardwalks just above the water's surface, so guests can watch the seals splash, play and sunbathe all day long.
