Went to SW today Seal Harbour is now open to the pubic the attraction wasn't busy but it was fun! its 9/10 also you get a good view of BT Heard it first

I can confirm this. I was at SW today, but didn't go in to it... it was definitely open though...

Where is the advertising? No hint of it on the website. So weird

I think once they get more than 3 seals in there they'll market it properly. I wonder whether it should be the basis of the Easter marketing push, given the holidays finish in a week or two.

Now that holidays are almost over, it makes complete sense for them to market the attraction for the easter break...should carry them over nicely till the September opening of the Storm.

What's your point? That still equates to like one seal per lagoon, so obviously its not at full capacity yet.

To be fair Gazza I think his point was that you were wrong, which you were. And I think that's a fair cop because I also read the tone of your post to be kind of a harsh one.

Well I disagree, and counted about 3 there, a couple swimming round together in the front right lagoon plus one sitting on the steps at the back near the feeding area. NZ fur seals only, no Australian or Californian Sea Lions at present. 3 or 4, it's certainly not yet close to the population of 20 mooted when the exhibit was announced: http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2012/08/22/437108_gold-coast-theme-parks.html which kinda goes along with my prediction that we'll see the main marketing push when they've all been happily settled in and the lagoons are busy with seals.
