Yeh I was thinking the same thing, had they just hosed it down? Or have they painted & lacquered it or something? It hasn't rained up here for about 10 days so don't think it's rain

It looks like there's a hose or pipe of some sort on the ground, so I'm assuming they just hosed it down.

The shelter has been installed over the start of Triple Vortex.

I was thinking to myself if they wanted a surfie/Aussie type name to match the rest of the park then "Triple Whammy" could have suited.

What does the shelter look like?

^It was a simple arch shape that covered that whole platform where users get on. It appeared to be a metal roof, unlike the usually shade sail.

If you get this thing spinning are you able to stop it from spinning easily?

It's about moving your weight to make the thing roll. I'd imagine that if you started spinning it wouldn't take much to calm it down. Depends how easy they are to roll in the first place.

The GD reopens on Monday, so the next time people visit could they have a look to see if cameras have been installed.

i thought those handles had controls on them that controlled a mechanism that made your chair tilt in that direction?

Its a combination of both..the wings catch the air so if you have them opposite ways it works like a wind turbine and the breeze flowing past as the whole ride rotates pushes against them, making you spin.

You can also shift your weight to rock side to side.

By the looks of it you'll need to do a combination of both to make it flip.

Ultimately, like most rides with freely flipping seats, if you stop giving them a reason to flip they are bottom heavy enough to quickly return you to level.

You mean you have a picture from the re theme of the fudge shop to the green bean coffee shop? The Coffee and Pizza shops will be 2 different shops.
