Rainbows End across the Tasman really needs the old Kumbak train on their identical Corkscrew roller coaster,

As for a replacement, a roller coaster would do the job. I would definitely not like to see another animal exhibit.

Cool memory.

No they don't at all.

Was at Rainbows End yesterday, and Corkscrew Coaster was running smoother than many older B&Ms, and this was in the 2nd car from the back.

If it aint broke.....

what paper Mr yoshi

Gold Coast Bulletin.

So they are removing the corkscrews?

Too bad,the corkscrews could have made a great display like how Alton Towers did it.

^If you are referring to using them as a souvenir within the park, then that isn't the reason because SW replied to someone (posted on page 7):

Sea Viper certainly provided our guests with many happy memories during its 32 year lifespan. Unfortunately, we are unable to honour your request for a souvenir from the ride as all parts of our equipment are part of our asset register, and we cannot divest singular items to be given away or sold. Sorry we cannot assist you with this.

That reply was in regards to that person getting a particular part of the ride.

What mba means (I think so sorry if I'm wrong) is keeping the corkscrews themselves on display in the park somewhere (full size) as a monument to the ride that created history.

The bridge is going down too? Wonder why.

Sea Viper will be gone by Friday at the latest.

As for suggestions of their next coaster:

GCI Woodie- Works well with the height limit and footprint would also be Australia's only proper wooden coaster.

Mack Launch- People suggest this a bit too much as it is unlikely to happen, because it would be considered too similar to Jet Rescue.

Smiler Clone- Alton Towers has a height limit too, and has a small footprint.

Normal Eurofighter- Can fit just about anywhere in the old Sea Viper footprint.

The best option for me would be a Eurofighter or a Smiler clone
