I know when they were filming Insane Coaster Wars at Movie World and Dreamworld they had a whole heap of GoPros mounted with various mounts. As for just taking one onto the rides? Not going to happen. You can book rides for filming on but I doubt it would be cheap.

White Water World Update - September 23, 2014

Yesterday I went out and rode Triple Vortex and really enjoyed it. Be warned, if you go out expecting a thrill you will be disappointed but it is definitely a solid addition. There are brand new topsy turvy inner tubers for the ride which are for two people but unlike most slides the bigger person sits in the front not the back. Also, you are able to sit in the front and ride solo which is a plus. Anyway, onto the photos:

The new slide is quiet colourful compared to most of the others which have badly faded.

This is the slide's run out lane which is across the path from The Rip.

It is also where guests wait for rafts.

Guests then make their way past some new landscaping and towards the BRO stairs.

The slide begins from an extension of the tower, accessed from the BRO stairs.

After riding down the slide...

you end up here.

It's a solid addition.

They've done a good job fixing up the gardens around the ride.

Ahhhhh.... The deployment of AdBlockPlus this morning considers hotlinked images to be an ad - and so it blocks them.

Triple Vortex is a pretty cool ride, just don't go expecting a high thrill ride like tantrum at wet n wild sydney. It's more moderate but it's extremely fun.

Great photos. And I agree - a solid addition to the park. However, WWW is still in need of a true expansion and not just one-off individual slides

I found triple vortex a really enjoyable ride. It's a bit weird how the heaviest person sits in front and the lightest sits at the back don't you think. But it's really confusing getting up there because I went the rip way and you're supposed to go the bro way. Lol
