News article just popped up on this. A few of these were news to me.

It is interesting that Disney has a lot more accidents at their parks then some of the other parks in world.

High attendance + long history. We've covered this before.

I would think more people have died in car accidents trying to get to Disneyland over the years.

To be honest with the number of guests heading though Disneyland the last 60 years I would have though it woud be higher

I know there's been quite a lot and I know we've covered it before, but I saw the news article pop up and thought it was interesting.

Reasons for the injuries and deaths, in short and very simplistic form.

• Failed to follow the safety rules. As was the other case from the same point
• Person fell over, then suffered medical issues.
• Staff miss communication.
• Accident during stunt training.
• Not enough information on this one but it could be anything from, poor design, to poor maintenance to mechanical failure.
• Staff member fell over resulting in being run over.
• Poor Maintenance.
• Finger was caught.
• Staff error
• Staff error or failure of equipment.
• Failed to follow the safety rules.
• Staff error

By quick count there are only 4 on the list that was Disney's or a staff members actions resulting in guest injury or death.

Hardly enough to call it a dark side.
