the tent that I mentioned last week that is next to Sound Stage 3 is still there, I saw workers enter the tent as I was on the AA. It looks like we are getting TWO new maze locations for this year's FN 

no construction on the Scooby overflow just yet

 didn't go near the Show Stage/WWF area so I can't give any updates on that..

Also, the maze in Scooby Doo doesn't usually begin construction until a couple of weeks before the first fright night.

Anyone got any ideas when we should be hearing any offical announcements? Isn't it normally early August?

Last year the dates were released on August 25 and in 2013 they were released on July 30. So I would expect they would announce dates within the first couple of weeks of the month.

Any news on the construction of the maze inside the arcade centre?

I'm in park right now and all evidence of filming in the studios is gone. So maybe we will get the studios this year. Got some photo of the arcade maze. Will post when I get home

I wonder if they are going to put up any signage of what the maze will be before they announce it. Doubt it though

Hey Guys from the images shown as above my friend was searching the web for what i could be and what he found could be a possibility. It was The Woman In Black: Angel of Death and knowing this set has the theme to look like it but also not being a big film it has a chance. Also The Woman in Black was a character at last years Fright Nights. This photo i will show below has vines around the building like in the photos above. What do you guys think?

Certainly looks like it would fit. When do they usually release the mazes?

Usually the dates are released early to mid August (with a maze or two being announced). And remaining mazes are announced early to mid September.

Looking at all the exteriors in The Woman in Black: Angel of Death, there are clearly no marble columns at the front of the house. This makes me think it may not be Woman in Black, especially after seeing all there other faithful recreations of film scenes. They are generally pretty accurate with these things. 

In saying that, this point may not hold much weight. You could very well be on the money!

Since most of the mazes would be in the "Scenic" phase at the moment, what's the bet that this competition maze will be in the Scooby Queue?

^ It does say that it will be used for a maze or precinct for the 2016 Fright Nights. A great competition for budding horror filmmakers, I hope they get a good response.

They did this for Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood years ago and the tope entries were amazing, this should be interesting.
