Best feature ever added to Parkz.  His on -1 now.

Something I have noticed is I can't see where anybody has mentioned their thoughts on the colour scheme.

I’m unsold on the colour scheme so far only because when I see it for some reason makes me think of a colonial dwelling.

Back to Doomsday, I hope this will be the start of more rides in the future. I'm there's some simple, but effective flats they could throw in there in the future.

It's the name of the paid subscription service for Parkz lol. $20 can give you the same title and advantages, and also help support a good cause with Web hosting costs etc

They are taking so long to finish the footing off..   I'm putting it down to the soil being so shit.  Good to see that they are roughing in at the same time.

So apart from having the seats out in the sun to start fading before day 1, nothing has really changed in a while it seems. 

It seems quite strange to me that the seats are out in the open elements, still 5-6 months prior to opening.. 

There is a bit of a facade going up near the toilets. But that is about all I can see thats different!

I might be wrong so please correct me this attraction probably doesn't have a roof so won’t the seats be exposed to the elements once it’s installed? But regardless you would cover it with something at close of park. It is really odd they are sitting there like a bunch of old Looney Tune Boats.

Pandamonium, The Claw, Wipeout, Giant Drop & Batwing all have open air stations and they seem okay. 

Its one thing having your operational ride being exposed 24/7, like many rides are across the world, 

But It's another thing altogether having it sitting exposed for 6 months before anyone even rides on it..

Would you buy a new car and leave it sitting in your front yard for 6 months before driving it the first time? 

It's not a big deal, but 6 months of fading and weathering before your launch is not particularly ideal.. 

Exactly. You expect it out when it's open, but why add 6 months wear and tear for no reason?

...because they have a 10 year "outdoor" lifetime?

So 9.5 years now. In an industry such as this where everything is so expensive why waste any time?

Because you'd rather the parts there before you need them then after.

Yeah but why not have the parts there, but sitting inside a container if they're not ready to be worked on? Or have the parts there but under a tarp until they're needed? 

I would have just expected them to want everything scratch/scuff/bird poop/damage free until launch day or at least until they were fixed onto the ride. 

Well with storms on Monday we'll see if they're gonna be moved.
