Sorry @rac2703 - I only read @Brad2912's post, which didn't pluralise it. I couldn't see the image. 

That does make it mighty exciting, doesn't it?

In saying that's, politicians going off early and half cocked isn't a rarity. Hopefully whatever it is he's been made privy of actually comes to fruition!

I'm going to say no. And that's the main problem with going with the silly 'mini Movie World' theme for the driving school. It's very unlikely it's going to evolve as the park does. I mean the theming is terrific, but they could have gone with any theme and still executed it well. A timeless one would have made more sense logistically.

And the way they designed the original ride. I have not seen it in person only photos but it looks like there is no room to put DD in were it should be.

It's hardly geographically accurate. 

Well given Boot Hill is now gone and that is still in the Mini Driving School there is a bit of space for it...  I have wondered if it would be updated over time so i guess when it goes down in maintenance periods we may find out.

Maybe they are waiting for when their attractions (roller coaster) is built then they will update the ride. Does anyone know if DD is included in the 100,000,000s they said or if that was seperate?

I don't think it was exactly said that it was, but I'd imagine it would be.

I think it might be. I originally thought it would be the hotel or lakeside precinct. But then the article said This:

So i think it could be either a roller coaster or a entertainment precinct. But they are really trying to make it a great location by the 2018 commonwealth games.

I'm putting my money on the new announcement being for the new cabin accommodation. If you look at the old faithful site you can see the make decision date is the 13/07/2016.  This might also include an announcement for the hotel.  I also have a fuzzy feeling the new golf addition will be the centre of a bigger precinct.

the only park on the gold coast that needs a new rollercoaster is dreamworld

movie world and seaworld already have and dont need anymore rollercoasters

I think SW does need a rollercoaster, and we think MW is getting one next year. I do agree that DW does need a major new coaster though.

So in one thread, you talk about how a flat ride isn't going to get you to buy a pass, but here you say you don't want a new rollercoaster (something which by far is the main reason most people would buy a pass)...

What do you want? a Dark ride or a Walkthrough? (LOL) or a Walkthrough Darkride about a monorail?

What about a lazy river snaking through Movieworld with exit points at each ride entry?
