Could be related to the Corroboree Stage 2, or the removal of the river rapids

Don't know if they were using stock footage or if was filmed today, but 9 GC News just ran an interview with the CEO which showed maintenance crews working up on HWSW and well as on Pandamonium.

The Park opened this afternoon and is open this evening for family of staff members as a bit of a dry run before opening tomorrow morning.

I'm thinking of heading down tomorrow, even for a few hours. I'm also surprised they haven't opened any thrill rides, if I do go I might pay WWW a visit if it's not busy. Definitely want to show my support somehow though even if I don't end up going.

I saw that news report to @Santa07, and it was actually good to see the media reporting on positive things. They did mention the incident once, but the rest was about preparing for Christmas, tomorrow's opening, a fingerprint 'memorial' that people can be a part of. And showed a number of maintenance crews working on the thrill rides

May be reading into it too much. It is an old railway line, even when in present operation. Has been there since the park opened, so yes, it's considered old lol.

They are vines afterall, so it's possible that they may just have been put up along the track fence somewhere ?
